ERINHA and ERINHA 2 projects’ main goal is to set up a pan European research infrastructure reinforcing the European capacities to study Risk Group 4 pathogens and enhance the coordination of BSL-4 and supporting infrastructure. During the preparatory phase Paris, France as host for Central Coordination Unit was selected, statutes, internal regulations, business plan, research portfolio, catalogue of services of ERINHA was set up. The membership modalities were defined. Diagnostic and research pilot studies were launched.
